Sales Director - Fully Remote

About the role

An established B2B events and insights business is looking for a Sales Director to sell sponsorship opportunities to medium and large enterprises. The company connects solution providers with senior decision-makers through regular business events. This is a hands-on commercial role where you win business personally, build a strong performance record and lay the foundations for team growth. It is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and close new enterprise sponsorship opportunities.
• Build and lead sales functions from scratch, scaling teams effectively.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and understand their commercial objectives.
• Lead proposals, negotiations and the full sales process.
• Bring rigour to qualification, pipeline management and forecasting.
• Support a repeatable sales approach and drive revenue growth.

Required profile

• Substantial B2B SaaS sales experience selling to medium and large enterprises, with proven personal closing success on large contracts.
• Ability to discuss performance data in detail, including quota attainment, deal sizes, conversion rates and sales cycles.
• Experience in high-growth scale-ups and international expansion, especially across the UK and US, is highly valued.
• A professional history showing longevity, sustained results and increasing responsibility.

Required skills

• Mastery of MEDDIC is essential.
• Preferred: SPIN, Challenger selling or Great Demo!
