Sales Engineer - Equipment Sales & Rental

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to develop sales and rental business for generators, forklifts and related industrial equipment across Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE market. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, building relationships with contractors and industrial clients, and achieving sales, rental and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers in construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, logistics and facilities‑management sectors.
• Generate enquiries for equipment sales, rentals and AMC/service contracts and prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
• Conduct regular customer and site visits to assess requirements and recommend suitable equipment solutions.
• Maintain relationships with contractors, project companies and industrial users, and monitor market activity to spot new opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal rental, technical, service and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and report on visits, enquiries, quotations and conversions.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant sales experience, preferably selling generators, forklifts or equipment rental services.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE market, especially Abu Dhabi; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Self‑driven, target‑oriented with ability to generate new accounts independently.
• Valid UAE driving licence; candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.

Required skills

• Experience selling generators, forklifts or related industrial equipment.
• Experience generating AMC/service business.

• Salary range AED 8,000 – 12,000 per month.
