Sales Executive – Aviation (Remote)

About the role

SailPoint is looking for a Sales Executive focused on the aviation sector to sell its Identity Security solutions. The role is remote, supporting customers worldwide while collaborating with partners and internal teams to drive revenue and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
• Develop and execute territory business plans, targeting top accounts and new opportunities.
• Lead virtual teams of partners, presales, deal desk, professional services and customer success to close deals.
• Conduct discovery calls, qualify prospects, and present SailPoint’s value proposition against competitors such as Microsoft, Okta and Saviynt.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and Salesforce hygiene, updating activity and pipeline regularly.
• Collaborate with marketing and channel managers to create joint go‑to‑market campaigns.
• Provide post‑sale support with customer success teams to identify upsell opportunities.
• Respond to RFPs, negotiate contracts and manage the closing process.

Required profile

• Excellent communicator able to lead discovery conversations and qualify opportunities.
• Deep understanding of identity security market and ability to position SailPoint against major competitors.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team‑selling environment and coordinate virtual resources.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time for customer and partner engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, business or related field preferred.
• Ability to create territory and opportunity plans with clear milestones.
