Sales Executive - Late Shift
cognitapeople · Dubai
Job description
About the role
Cognita, a global family of over 90 schools across 21 countries, is growing its centralised Sales Hub in Dubai and is looking for a Sales Executive to support prospective families considering its schools worldwide. This is a proactive, target-driven sales position, not a traditional admissions administrator role: you will be the first point of contact for families and guide them from enquiry through application and enrolment, working closely with school-based Admissions, Parent Experience, Marketing and leadership teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own the family journey from enquiry to application and enrolment, managing a high-volume pipeline across phone, email, WhatsApp and other channels
- Qualify families by understanding their relocation plans, educational needs, preferred start dates and decision-making criteria
- Hold consultative sales conversations, spot buying signals, handle objections and follow up with a disciplined cadence
- Prioritise high-intent, time-sensitive enquiries, support outbound campaigns and re-engage historic enquiries and incomplete applications
- Meet enrolment, conversion and activity targets
- Deliver a personalised, premium parent experience, respond within agreed service levels and escalate concerns where appropriate
- Coordinate with school teams on tours, virtual meetings, assessments and admissions activity, and ensure timely handovers between the Sales Hub and schools
- Support Open Days, events and recruitment activity, and share insights from parent conversations with schools and Marketing
- Keep accurate records of every family interaction in the CRM, use dashboards and pipeline data to manage performance, and work to clear KPIs on response times, call activity, follow-up, pipeline progression, conversion and enrolments
Required profile
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proven experience in sales, admissions, account management or relationship management, with a strong track record of achieving commercial targets
- Significant customer service experience, ideally in a premium, high-touch environment
- Confidence on the phone and comfort handling a high volume of calls and follow-ups
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple families and priorities at once, and culturally aware of international families
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with teams across different locations
- Flexibility for later shifts, typically starting between 10:00am and 13:00 UAE time; weekend work, school events and occasional international travel may be required
Required skills
- Experience managing a sales pipeline in a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce or similar
- Strong written communication across email and digital channels
