Sales Executive - Leisure

About the role

The Sales Executive – Leisure will manage key accounts and prospects for Sofitel Dubai The Palm, driving revenue across the leisure segment. You will work closely with local DMCs, UK partners and overseas agencies to maximise bookings and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a predetermined portfolio of key accounts and prospects, focusing on local DMCs and selected UK accounts.
• Conduct 2‑3 sales calls weekly and maintain at least two conference calls per week with overseas partners.
• Attend trade shows and sales trips, providing accurate follow‑up reports.
• Maintain up‑to‑date account information, rates and activity in the system, inserting all data into Opera and ASA.
• Prepare special FIT offers, handle group and event enquiries, and coordinate with reservations, accounting and internal departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel sales, preferably within the leisure segment.
• Good knowledge of leisure markets, travel agencies, tour operators and DMCs.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Results‑oriented with a proactive approach to business development.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
