Sales Lead – Gulf Region

About the role

The Sales Lead, Other Gulf is responsible for market‑level customer‑facing execution and delivery of revenue, profitability and commercial objectives across Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. Based in Dubai, the role reports to the ME Cluster Lead and is a member of the Middle East Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities

• Own Gulf revenue, operating‑plan delivery, forecast accuracy and commercial investment deployment.
• Translate Middle East and category priorities into country sales plans, territory strategies, launch plans and field execution standards.
• Design and optimise territory coverage, targeting, call planning and sales‑force productivity across the Gulf.
• Set market‑specific objectives and KPIs, lead performance reviews and ensure timely coaching and corrective actions.
• Develop deep understanding of customer needs, institutional priorities, tenders, regulatory requirements and distributor performance.
• Partner with Category Leads on portfolio strategy while owning market‑level execution, launch readiness and demand generation.
• Embed digital tools, omnichannel engagement and new ways of working to improve customer experience and field impact.
• Recruit, develop, coach and retain high‑performing talent and maintain succession plans across geographically dispersed markets.

Required profile

• 10+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare experience with proven success leading sales or commercial teams.
• Strong knowledge of Gulf healthcare and pharmaceutical market dynamics, including institutional and private channels, tenders and regulatory environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver revenue and profitability, improve forecast quality and execute product launches.
• Excellent people leadership, coaching, communication and stakeholder‑management skills across diverse cultures.
• High standards of integrity, compliance and ethical decision‑making.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic highly desirable.
