Sales Manager – Consumer Products

About the role

The Sales Manager (Consumer) will lead the development and performance of all sales activities in the market. Reporting to the General Manager, the role supervises the sales team and drives profitability and growth in line with the company’s vision and values.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market to achieve company sales goals and profitability.
• Set targets by brand, category, customer and salesman to ensure clear objectives for all staff.
• Control expenses to stay within budget guidelines.
• Manage monthly trade schemes and coordinate with brand principals.
• Lead the performance and development of Account Executives, ensuring work efficiency.
• Prepare accurate monthly sales forecasts.
• Coordinate with the operations team to align procurement and stock levels with KPIs.
• Work with the Operations Manager to forecast orders according to the sales plan.
• Control customer credit limits and ensure timely collections.
• Monitor stock ageing in accordance with company policy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent.
• 5‑10 years of sales or marketing management experience, preferably within the lubricant industry.
• Proven experience in performance management, coaching, team building and delivering presentations.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.
