Sales Manager, Europe

About the role

The Sales Manager, Europe will be responsible for comprehensive coverage of the hotel’s European sales portfolio, managing all account levels and revenue streams to achieve booking targets and maximise productivity. The role requires building long‑term, value‑based relationships with clients while upholding Mandarin Oriental’s standards of service and corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full coverage of the European sales portfolio, including all account tiers and revenue sources.
• Develop and execute sales strategies and account plans to exceed personal booking goals.
• Maintain and communicate corporate and hotel policies, SOPs, and the Code of Conduct to the team.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including on‑the‑job training and maintaining a departmental training matrix.
• Safeguard guest, customer and colleague data in line with confidentiality requirements.
• Monitor performance against targets and provide recommendations for improvement.

Required profile

• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a hospitality or luxury environment.
• Strong ability to identify, implement and execute effective sales strategies.
• Understanding of corporate policies, compliance standards and a commitment to ethical conduct.
• Willingness to support training and development activities for the department.
