Sales Manager – Group & Leisure

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Manager for our Group & Leisure division at Novotel Dubai Al Barsha, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal leadership role you will drive revenue growth, lead a high‑performing sales team and build strong relationships with group and leisure travel clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire and retain group and leisure travel clients, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Lead, mentor and motivate a sales team through coaching, training and performance management.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, travel agencies, corporate clients and leisure operators.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and client feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements while ensuring profitability.
• Monitor sales metrics, conversion rates and revenue performance to guide strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with operations, marketing and finance to deliver seamless group and leisure packages.
• Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales management experience, with at least 3 years focused on group sales, leisure travel or hospitality.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and client‑relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with the UAE and Middle‑Eastern travel market is highly desirable.
