Sales Manager - Power Generation Equipment

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive is looking for a Sales Manager to lead the sales and rental performance of FAMCO's power generation business in Dubai. The role combines commercial leadership, customer relationship management and hands-on team management, with responsibility for delivering agreed sales, margin and income-growth objectives. It reports to the Head of Business or Divisional Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the sales and rental strategy for power generation equipment and drive agreed sales, volume, margin and income-growth targets.
• Manage, coach and develop the sales team, setting clear objectives and monitoring individual and team performance.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and manage expectations throughout the sales and rental process.
• Review sales activity, stock position and overdue accounts and take timely action on performance gaps.
• Maintain high customer-service standards and recruit and train sales team members.
• Support the Head of Business and senior management with divisional sales initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of sales experience in the UAE power generation or genset sales and rental industry.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience leading a genset sales and rental team.
• A proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Preferred: mechanical and electrical engineering degree; strong knowledge of the UAE power generation market; experience managing stock, customer accounts and overdue payments; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
