Sales Representative – Modern Trade (FMCG) – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven, relationship‑oriented Sales Representative to manage and grow sales within key modern retail chains in Dubai, including Co‑ops, Carrefour, Spinneys, Waitrose and others. The role involves executing sales plans, supporting key accounts, driving in‑store performance and collaborating closely with retail buyers and store operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned modern‑trade retail accounts and store clusters, driving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Execute sales and distribution plans across SKUs, monitor sell‑in and sell‑out performance, and identify opportunities to expand range and shelf space.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail buyers, category managers and store managers, supporting key‑account meetings and promo approvals.
• Coordinate promotional plans, ensure correct stock allocation, and work with trade‑marketing teams on campaign execution.
• Conduct regular store visits and retail audits, ensuring merchandising standards, shelf visibility and stock availability.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate with supply‑chain and warehouse teams to prevent out‑of‑stock situations and track promo stock readiness.
• Prepare sales and account performance reports, track competitor activity and share market insights with management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–6 years of FMCG modern‑trade sales experience, preferably with Co‑ops, Carrefour, Spinneys, Waitrose or similar UAE retailers.
• Strong understanding of modern‑trade operations, promotional cycles and retail systems.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Strong numerical and reporting skills, proficient in Excel and sales reporting tools.
• Valid UAE driving licence (preferred) and fluency in English (Arabic an advantage).
