Sales Reservation Agent

About the role

The Sales Reservation Agent supports Marriott Dubai by handling all reservation inquiries, changes and cancellations. The role ensures guests receive accurate information on room availability, rates and hotel policies while promoting revenue through sales techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone, fax or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room type availability and explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies.
• Enter and update reservation data in the hotel’s reservation system, including special codes for complimentary rooms, employee discounts and wholesale rates.
• Accommodate and document special guest requests and answer questions about hotel facilities and services.
• Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and follow escalation procedures for guest concerns.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect guest privacy and adhere to company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
