Sales Team Lead (Retention)

About the role

As a Sales Team Lead you will guide the retention team to achieve seller retention and auction revenue targets for Bayut & dubizzle, one of the leading online classifieds in the UAE. You will develop people and business plans, coach team members and translate performance data into actionable strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop operational plans and lead the retention team to meet monthly retention targets.
• Monitor seller churn trends, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate with senior management and team members to align on goals.
• Provide coaching, training and regular one‑to‑one meetings on retention techniques and objection handling.
• Organise workflow, call allocation and schedules across the retention team.
• Handle employee complaints and inquiries while ensuring compliance with KPI policies.

Required profile

• University graduate.
• 2‑3 years experience in a call‑centre or sales environment, preferably in retention, collections or sales.
• 1‑2 years of team‑management experience leading retention or sales teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Strong coaching and people‑development abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting tools.
• Basic computer literacy.
