Salesforce Business Consultant

About the role

As a Salesforce Business Consultant, you will work at the intersection of business consulting, process architecture and Salesforce solution design, guiding clients from abstract business vision to structured, implementable requirements. You will shape enterprise-wide process transformations, define business architectures and enable scalable Salesforce programs across multiple clouds. The role suits a client-facing consultant with strong communication skills, deep industry knowledge and process modelling expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery and stakeholder workshops, then turn business intent into capability models, BPMN process architectures, epics and user stories
• Own the requirements lifecycle, from ideation through backlog refinement and acceptance criteria, with full traceability to delivery
• Partner with Technical Architects and delivery teams to build multi-cloud solutions, enforce platform best practices and oversee validation, UAT and business acceptance
• Develop capability roadmaps, transformation blueprints and business cases linked to KPIs, and advise on CRM maturity and customer experience
• Support pre-sales, solution shaping and proposals, and identify expansion opportunities and cross-cloud use cases
• Contribute to practice assets, accelerators and delivery frameworks, and support internal enablement on Salesforce innovations

Required profile

• 8+ years as a Business Architect, Functional Lead or Senior Consultant in Salesforce or digital transformation programs
• Strong client-facing experience leading workshops, stakeholder alignment and requirements definition
• Ability to engage C-level stakeholders and simplify complex business problems

Required skills

• Business process modelling (BPMN) and requirements engineering
• Enterprise CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle CRM
• Nice to have: Salesforce platform design trade-offs, core Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience), and Salesforce consultant certificates
