Salesforce Engineer – Platform Development

About the role

The Salesforce Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable technical solutions that meet complex business requirements and follow platform best practices. You will work for IC Markets Global, a leading Forex CFD provider, contributing to its innovative trading infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into robust technical designs using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Salesforce architecture, ensuring data integrity, optimal schema design, and seamless integration with external systems.
• Develop and manage secure integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Implement high‑quality, scalable code while adhering to enterprise coding standards and documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and concurrency issues in a multi‑tenant environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience in a complex enterprise setting.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II highly preferred.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with CI/CD pipelines using SFDX and GitHub or GitLab.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving abilities and clear communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
