SAP Funds Management Consultant

About the role

LanceSoft is looking for an experienced SAP Funds Management Consultant in Dubai, UAE, with 8+ years of experience in SAP FM implementation, configuration, support and enhancement. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in funds management processes, budget control, fund allocation and integration with other SAP modules.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, implement and support SAP Funds Management solutions according to business requirements.
• Manage fund centers, commitment items, funds, funded programs and budget structures.
• Handle budget planning, allocation, transfers, supplements, returns and releases.
• Configure and maintain availability control and budget checks to monitor fund consumption and prevent budget overruns.
• Work on funds management processes in public sector or government environments where applicable.
• Integrate SAP FM with SAP FI, CO, MM and PS.
• Analyse business requirements, prepare functional specifications and support technical teams with enhancements.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing and regression testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyse root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare functional and configuration documentation and end-user training materials.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver SAP FM solutions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of overall SAP experience, with strong hands-on SAP Funds Management experience.
• Experience in implementation, rollout, enhancement and production support projects.
• Preferred: SAP S/4HANA Funds Management or Public Sector Management (PSM-FM) experience, and experience in government, public sector or large enterprise projects.
• Preferred: knowledge of fund accounting, budgetary accounting and financial controls; SAP certification in a relevant module is an added advantage.
