SAP Project Manager – Complex Business Applications

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead large, multi‑workstream initiatives that implement, modernize and optimize critical business application portfolios for clients in Abu Dhabi. The role sits at the intersection of product, technology and operations, driving measurable business outcomes and robust change adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large, multi‑workstream SAP transformation programmes covering ERP, CRM, HCM, Finance and Supply Chain systems.
• Define and align application strategies, integrations, data and processes to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Manage executive stakeholder relationships, steering committees and board‑level reporting across geographically distributed teams.

Required profile

• 15+ years of SAP project/programme management experience, including 8+ years leading large‑scale transformations for 200+ users.
• Proven experience with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve‑outs and legal entity consolidations in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Logistics.
• Strong executive stakeholder management skills, including C‑level engagement and board reporting.
• PMP certification and SAP Activate Project Manager certification.
