SAP S/4HANA Cloud Finance Functional Consultant (1‑Year Project)

About the role

Provide hands‑on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Finance expertise for Al Fahim Group's transformation program. The consultant will configure and validate finance solutions, support end‑to‑end implementation delivery, and act as the company‑side Finance Design Authority representative.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in finance discovery, fit‑to‑standard workshops, configuration, testing, defect resolution, cut‑over and hyper‑care.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert in the Design Authority, reviewing and challenging the implementation partner’s processes, configurations and extensions.
• Facilitate alignment between company policy and SAP standard functionality, documenting decisions and escalating unresolved issues.
• Validate requirements traceability, solution design documents, configuration workbooks, functional specifications and test evidence.
• Act as the day‑to‑day functional bridge among business teams, IT, SAP and the implementation partner, ensuring clear communication and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, IT or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP Finance experience with hands‑on configuration and delivery responsibility.
• Participation in at least one end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation; S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to review and challenge an implementation partner’s design using SAP best practices and evidence.
