SAP System Administrator

About the role

The SAP System Administrator will be a technical expert within the SAP Product Team, responsible for the architecture, deployment, and ongoing health of the core SAP landscape. This role ensures that S/4HANA Private Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform and related integrations meet performance standards and deliver a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain the S/4HANA Private Cloud environment, guaranteeing high availability and disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Administer SAP BTP cockpit, security settings, user management and set up secure connections for the SAP Integration Suite.
• Design and maintain SAP authorization concepts, including PFCG roles and BTP Role Collections, and conduct regular SoD assessments.
• Implement and monitor SAP Fiori and ODATA services following best‑practice guidelines.
• Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply optimisations.
• Manage monitoring, patching, change‑management processes, system copies and OSS note implementations.
• Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting and defect resolution.
• Document technical specifications, configuration logs and deployment details.
• Communicate with business users, IT Business Partners and other technical teams to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP HANA) and/or SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP System Security and Authorizations.
• 5+ years of SAP Basis administration experience, including S/4HANA Private Cloud and hybrid landscapes.
• Experience in consulting environments is a plus.
