About the role

GEMS Metropole School Al Waha in Dubai is seeking a Science Teacher to start in August 2026. This role offers the chance to teach GCSE and A‑Level science within a world‑class international school that values curiosity, confidence, creativity, respect and kindness.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging science lessons for GCSE and A‑Level students.
• Apply exemplary teaching practices and innovative approaches inside and outside the classroom.
• Contribute actively to extra‑curricular programmes and community‑based events.
• Collaborate with colleagues, students and parents to support outstanding learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree with a PGCE/PGDE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven qualified experience teaching GCSE and A‑Level science.
• Commitment to embody the school’s core values of curiosity, confidence, creativity, respect and kindness.
• Willingness to engage in the school community and its diverse extracurricular activities.
