Science Teacher (AY27‑28)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Science Teacher to join its growing network of schools for the 2027‑28 academic year. The role involves delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned science lessons and contributing to a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver science lessons that cater to the full ability range of students.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and parents to support student progress.
• Assess and record student development using the Target Tracker system and provide feedback at parent‑teacher conferences.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy, promoting self‑control and independence.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events, extracurricular activities and weekly ECAs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Passion for whole‑child education, high professionalism and a clean DBS/police check.
• Active involvement in extra‑curricular activities and a solution‑focused attitude.
