Science Teacher (Full-time, Academic Year)

About the role

Deliver high-quality instruction in biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science. The teacher will create an engaging, inquiry-based learning environment that encourages student curiosity, critical thinking, and the application of scientific principles through experiments and real-world problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• Teach science subjects (biology, chemistry, physics, and/or environmental science) following the approved curriculum and educational standards.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that promote inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and scientific exploration.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities, ensuring an inclusive environment.
• Organise and facilitate laboratory experiments, field trips, and practical demonstrations that allow students to apply scientific principles in real-world contexts.
• Develop and administer formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies based on assessment data to meet individual learning needs.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners, offering additional support or advanced challenges as required.
