Science Teacher – Immediate Start (Cycle 2 & 3)

About the role

The school is seeking a passionate Science Teacher for Cycle 2 and 3 students, with an immediate start. This full‑time position is based at Mubarak Bin Mohammed Charter School in Abu Dhabi and forms part of the Aldar Education family.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons that meet the American curriculum requirements and cater to the whole ability range.
• Assess student progress, record data using Target Tracker and use the information to inform future planning and interventions.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment, manage behaviour in line with school policy and act as a role model for pupils.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, parents and external specialists to support each child’s development.
• Contribute to extra‑curricular activities, school events and weekly ECA sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is an additional language.
• Passion for teaching the whole child, high professionalism and a clean DBS/police check.
• Commitment to the school’s vision of collaboration, leadership and creativity.
