Sea Logistics Sales Representative – Dubai

About the role

As a member of Kuehne+Nagel's Freight Forwarding team, you will generate new business opportunities for sea logistics, focusing on SME customers and ensuring the commercial success of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Generating new business opportunities with a clear focus on SMEs.
• Taking pricing decisions in alignment with the Customer Care Managers.
• Preparing quotations using online tools and submitting proposals to customers.
• Demonstrating superior Sea Logistics product and trade knowledge.
• Delivering presentations about main Sea Logistics products.
• Monitoring competition and gathering marketplace information on pricing and products.
• Reporting customer complaints to the Customer Care Team.
• Aligning with the Customer Care Team when onboarding new customers and completing handover forms.
• Using CoreLOG to maintain and update customer information and performing CRM tasks.
• Regularly reviewing customers’ portfolio with CCL managers and the Customer Care Team.
• Closing customer deals.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of successful field sales experience in forwarding or logistics.
• Reliable, trustworthy and serious demeanour.
• Excellent negotiating and closure skills, with the ability to work independently and in an organized way.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Very good computer skills, particularly MS Office.
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel.
