Section Head – Member Services

About the role

The Section Head – Member Services will lead the strategy, growth and engagement of the Dubai Press Club (DPC) membership. This senior role oversees the delivery of member benefits such as conferences, white papers, trainings and social events, while developing the Member Services team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for Member Services in line with GDMO’s vision.
• Collaborate with GDMO directors to create joint opportunities for DPC members.
• Manage Member Services Executives, providing technical guidance and ensuring successful project delivery.
• Provide metrics and documentation for monthly KPI reporting.
• Design and implement talent development programmes, including on‑the‑job, online and classroom training.
• Oversee the DPC Member Services budget, tracking expenses accurately.
• Formulate membership acquisition, retention and engagement strategies for journalists, photographers, videographers and other media professionals.
• Develop and monitor member benefits, measuring attendance, resource downloads and facility usage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in membership or loyalty program management.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and managing teams.
• Experience working with loyalty schemes or membership programmes is preferred.
