Security Consultant

About the role

Help AG, the cybersecurity arm of Etisalat, is looking for a Security Consultant to handle its customers' support requests accurately and properly. The consultant works within Help AG's support workflow, from receiving requests by email and call to providing technical advice and supporting security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Receive requests by email and call and handle them according to the support workflow, including internal and external escalations and continuous communication with customers.
• Provide solution scenarios for technical issues and document tickets using the ticket system and time tracking tools.
• Support POCs, deployments and integration of new security solutions.
• Prepare health checks for various technologies and give technical consulting to customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in information security or an IT-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in larger organizations on the customer side, as a support engineer or similar role in a service desk or as an administrator managing cybersecurity products and technologies.
• Strong background in TCP/IP networking of large-scale organizations and understanding of information security concepts.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Hands-on vendor certifications for F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet and Zscaler.
• Packet analysis tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump.
• Advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for security incidents.
• Structured technical documentation and diagramming.
• Enterprise support organization and customer-facing communication.
