Security Coordinator - Facilities (Emiratisation)

About the role

Emirates Group Security is hiring a Security Coordinator for its Facilities team in Dubai. The role supports operations-related issues so that security policies, the Airline Security Program (ASP) and the Security Management System (SEMS) are followed consistently. It also covers the collection, recording and analysis of irregularities that could lead to non-compliance with the organisation's security policy.

Key responsibilities

• Support security operations with statistics, logistics, roster patterns and administration.
• Carry out performance reviews, implement training and development initiatives and apply company policy consistently.
• Maintain documents, manuals and records for auditing purposes.
• Contribute to reviewing standard operating procedures, contracts and other documents affecting operations.
• Support the controller in managing daily security requirements such as parking and VIP visitor arrangements.
• Review reported incidents daily and decide on actions, such as fights in accommodation or lost items.
• Maintain the ticket and credit card fraud database and prepare fraud alerts for network stations so security officers can act quickly.
• Coordinate investigations and assist in evidence gathering for cases involving Emirates Group staff; independently handle simpler investigations and report with recommendations.
• Record, collate, analyse and report data supporting administration, customer complaints and compliments.

Required profile

• 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience, preferably in aviation security.
• Advantageous: experience in aviation, supervision and root cause analysis.
• Advantageous: experience in investigation, risk assessment and fraud prevention.

Required skills

• Ability to write comprehensive reports.
• Computer literacy.
