Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Security Engineer to join our Dubai team. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain security solutions, ensuring the organization’s defenses stay ahead of emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage security tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, DLP, firewalls and IAM platforms.
• Conduct proofs of concept for new technologies, evaluate results and produce detailed reports for management.
• Monitor security events, perform incident handling and contribute to system hardening initiatives.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Collaborate with IT and cloud teams to integrate security controls in hybrid environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar technical security role.
• Proven ability to run POCs, document findings and present recommendations.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST or other security frameworks is a plus.
