Security Manager

About the role

We are seeking a vigilant Security Manager to protect our guests, staff and assets at our Accor hotel in Dubai. The role combines operational oversight, incident management and collaboration with local authorities to maintain a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and controls to ensure high security and safety standards.
• Manage guest records, coordinate with law‑enforcement agencies and provide assistance to guests beyond protection.
• Ensure all security procedures are followed and update them in response to new legislation.
• Track and check all employees and vehicles entering and exiting the property.
• Develop and implement security plans, including protocols for sabotage, fire, and first‑aid response.
• Monitor employee performance, support budget identification and liaise with authorities as needed.
• Handle incidents that disrupt order, inform the General Manager and report to law‑enforcement when required.
• Coordinate with healthcare facilities and law‑enforcement in serious incidents such as fatalities.
• Recruit, train and ensure security personnel are well‑groomed and professional; set annual targets within budget.
• Maintain and repair security equipment, write incident reports and participate in Emergency Response Teams.
