Security Supervisor

About the role

Salayel Hospitality is hiring a Security Supervisor in Abu Dhabi to supervise security functions for employees, contractors and on-site security, including liaison with military and/or government entities. The supervisor ensures compliance with gate pass and security policies and procedures while implementing security measures.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise security personnel, ensure they secure the premises and personnel, and inspect areas and access points.
• Carry out daily security patrolling and rotate night duty shifts.
• Control entry based on approved gate passes and documents, coordinating with the Security Document Controller.
• Report irregularities, inform violators of policies and procedures, and prevent loss and damage.
• Write incident reports, alarm reports, complaint reports and logs, interview witnesses and obtain signatures.
• Protect the safety, security and well-being of personnel and the premises, and keep the premises free of danger.
• Assist in developing preventative measures against incidents and risks, and investigate incidents and property patrols.
• Respond to security incidents and assist official authorities, and comply with local regulations and company standards.
• Evaluate and analyse the performance of security personnel and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Direct Manager.

Required profile

• High school or secondary education, or a combination of education and experience.
• Military background is a plus.
• SIRA certification (Security Industry Regulatory Authority) and DPS certification (Department of Protective Systems) are mandatory.
• Minimum 2-3 years at the same position in a similar structure or in 5-6 star hotels.
• Good communication in Arabic and English (reading, writing and speaking).
• First aid, fire training and bomb threat certifications.
