Security‑focused DevSecOps Engineer

About the role
Edison Smart partners with a fast‑growing UAE fintech to hire a hands‑on DevSecOps Engineer for its Platform team. You will build and ship security controls, pipeline gates and detection rules, working closely with security, IT and AI teams.
Key responsibilities
- Harden Kubernetes clusters with RBAC, network policies, admission controllers and image scanning.
- Integrate shift‑left security into CI/CD pipelines, including IaC scanning, SAST, SCA and secrets scanning.
- Set up detection engineering with SIEM pipelines and custom detection rules.
- Own AWS identity, access and secrets management.
- Participate in the SRE on‑call rotation.
Required profile
- 4+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps, with at least 2 years focused on security.
- Strong experience securing Kubernetes and AWS environments.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Checkov and Trivy.
- Proficiency in Python, Go or Bash scripting.
- Background working in a regulated environment.
