About the role

GEMS FirstPoint School is seeking an outstanding SEN Teacher to start in September 2026. The role involves delivering high‑quality, inclusive lessons aligned with the British curriculum and supporting the school’s whole‑school initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and assess SEN lessons, maintaining accurate records of student progress.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Contribute to co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programmes that support whole‑school initiatives.
• Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
• Engage in continuous professional development and performance management.

Required profile

• Qualified to teach SEN within a British curriculum framework.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to differentiate instruction.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, positive classroom environment.
• Willingness to take on additional leadership opportunities such as Head of Year or ECA Coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess lessons effectively.
