Senior Accountant – Construction & Industrial

About the role

As a Senior Accountant at ALEC Holdings, you will safeguard financial integrity across large‑scale construction and industrial projects in the UAE. You will lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensure statutory compliance, and provide timely financial insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full‑cycle accounting for multiple entities, including P&L and balance‑sheet preparation.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close activities, ensuring accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure strict compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and maintain robust balance‑sheet controls.
• Collaborate with Commercial Management, Procurement, Site Operations, Internal Audit and Corporate Finance to deliver reliable financial reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in full‑cycle accounting within large construction or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations and IFRS.
• Proven ability to manage entity‑level financial statements and statutory reporting.
• Detail‑oriented with a passion for financial accuracy and internal controls.
