Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting will support the timely and accurate financial close, consolidation and reporting for multiple entities within Aldar Properties. The role focuses on maintaining ledger integrity, leveraging AI‑enabled and digital finance tools, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and Group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual Group consolidation and financial reporting, including account mapping, intercompany eliminations and adjustments.
• Prepare journals, accruals, provisions, reclassifications and period‑end adjustments for assigned entities.
• Perform general ledger, balance‑sheet and intercompany reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
• Assist internal and external audits by providing schedules, reconciliations and responding to queries.
• Prepare variance analysis, financial analysis and management reports, and contribute to budget, forecast and cash‑flow reporting.
• Utilise approved AI‑enabled analytics and digital finance tools to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation and general‑ledger accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Group financial policies.
• Proven ability to work with subsidiaries and finance teams to gather accurate data.
• Experience supporting audit processes and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
