Senior Accountant

About the role

This full-time, on-site position is for an Emirati Senior Accountant based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role supports the group finance function by delivering accurate financial reporting, audit coordination and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual group close and consolidation, including balance-sheet reconciliations and preparation of IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Act as the primary contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring timely submissions and full compliance with statutory and accounting standards.
• Manage the annual budgeting cycle, monitor execution and perform detailed variance analysis with clear commentary.
• Provide financial analysis, cash-flow forecasting and special studies to support subsidiaries, departments and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Proven experience with general ledger functions, group reporting and consolidation.
