Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Al Ain. You will manage core accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance within a confidential, high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Analyze financial variances and provide insights to management.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and general‑ledger management.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis in a corporate setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
• Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory capacity.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate while maintaining confidentiality.
