Senior Accountant

About the role

United Al Saqer Group is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of its dedicated workshop in Abu Dhabi. The role will ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and provide reliable data for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and general ledger activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, fit‑out or joinery.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
