Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The role involves managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes and perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial accounts.
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts, analyze data, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Monitor costs, identify improvement or cost‑saving opportunities, and file tax returns.
• Evaluate accounting processes and recommend efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• CPA or CA certification (mandatory).
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics.
