Senior Accountant (Multi-Currency, CPA)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing global finance firm, is looking for a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of accounting and finance operations across multiple entities. The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, multi‑currency experience, and an active CPA license.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the full accounting cycle for one or more entities, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month‑end/year‑end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for multi‑currency entities.
• Reconcile cash and multi‑currency accounts and monitor daily cash movements.
• Prepare investor performance reports as needed.
• Manage external audit and tax processes, liaising with auditors and tax advisors and preparing supporting documentation.
• Implement, maintain and improve accounting systems and processes (QuickBooks, Xero, Airtable, Excel/Google Sheets integrations).
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Provide analytical insights and ad‑hoc support to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Active CPA license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience handling multi‑currency entities with assets of USD 3‑5 million per month.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced financial services environment.
