Senior Accountant (Payroll) - Dubai

About the role

XAD Group of Companies is looking for a Senior Accountant (Payroll) in Dubai, UAE. The role covers payroll processing for several companies, keeping financial records accurate and compliant with UAE regulations, and working closely with HR and other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll for multiple companies accurately and on time
• Verify attendance, overtime, leaves, allowances and deductions
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS requirements
• Calculate gratuity, leave salary and final employee settlements
• Handle payroll accounting and perform reconciliations
• Prepare payroll reports and keep accurate salary records
• Coordinate with HR teams on payroll issues and support internal and external audits
• Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work
• Keep employee salary and payroll information confidential

Required profile

• M.Com, CMA or CA Inter qualification
• 2-4 years of experience in payroll and accounting
• Experience managing payroll for multiple companies and supervising junior staff
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, WPS and gratuity calculations
• Good communication, analytical and numerical skills, and ability to meet deadlines
