Senior Accounting Associate

About the role

CDA is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join its UAE‑based accounting team. The role involves managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with IFRS and ISA, and supporting audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and restructure Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho and other ERP systems.
• Review data entry for sales, purchases, petty cash, receipts and payments.
• Perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations and allocate payments to invoices.
• Prepare monthly income statements, balance sheets, cash‑flow statements and present accounts with ratio and cost‑benefit analysis.
• Conduct GL reconciliation and financial/compliance reviews of all accounts.
• Allocate work to team members and coordinate completion of tasks.

Required profile

• CA Interim/Final, ACCA, CMA or CPA qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in a UAE‑based accounting firm.

Required skills

• QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho and other ERP software.
• Bank and credit‑card reconciliation.
• GL reconciliation and chart‑of‑accounts management.
• Preparation of financial statements under IFRS and ISA.
• Ratio analysis and cost‑benefit analysis.
