Senior AI Engineer - Growth

About the role

Kraken is building an AI‑native growth engine that automates distribution decisions, creative generation and continuous learning across all product lines. As a Senior AI Engineer in the Growth Foundations Group, you will work closely with the AI Growth Infrastructure Lead and Growth Workflow Specialists to design, build and ship intelligent automation workflows that power paid growth, lifecycle messaging, organic search, CRO, incentives and referrals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agent orchestration workflows that replace manual decision‑making across multiple growth levers.
• Develop integrations between the AI reasoning layer, growth execution platforms, data infrastructure, experimentation systems and analytics tools.
• Create reusable infrastructure components such as workflow patterns, prompt libraries and integration clients.
• Set up monitoring, audit logging and versioning to ensure traceability and governance of all agent actions.
• Build creative and content generation pipelines that automate the brief‑to‑variant‑to‑distribution loop.
• Take workflows from specification to production quickly while maintaining high quality.
• Ensure integration reliability, graceful error handling and ongoing maintenance.
• Document each workflow so domain specialists can understand, tune and improve it independently.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience building automation workflows, integrations or agentic systems using AI orchestration or workflow automation tools.
• Strong understanding of API integrations, including REST, webhooks, authentication patterns and large‑scale error handling.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool use and agent chaining.
• Ability to work from detailed specifications without constant guidance.
• Familiarity with growth or marketing contexts to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Proven ability to balance speed of delivery with high‑quality output.
