Senior AI GTM Consultant - Public Sector (Middle East)

About the role

A leading global technology and consulting organisation is hiring a Senior AI GTM Consultant for its AI and Digital Transformation practice in the Middle East. This is a high-impact client-facing role based in Dubai, working with government and public sector organisations to define, shape and execute AI transformation agendas. The consultant works directly with senior decision-makers in ministries, government authorities and public sector entities to build AI strategies, operating models, governance frameworks and transformation roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Advise government and public sector organisations on AI, data and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop AI strategies, operating models, governance frameworks and transformation roadmaps.
• Lead executive workshops, stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions.
• Define value propositions, business cases, ROI models and AI adoption strategies.
• Support proof-of-concepts, pilot programmes and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Partner with technical and delivery teams to shape AI solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Influence senior government leaders and executives across the Middle East.
• Support business development and presales, including opportunity qualification, proposal development and executive presentations.
• Contribute to thought leadership, market insights and AI consulting offerings, and stay up to date with emerging AI trends.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, business transformation, AI, data, analytics or related client-facing roles.
• Proven experience advising public sector organisations in the UAE and the broader Middle East.
• Demonstrated success delivering or shaping AI, machine learning, generative AI, analytics or digital transformation programmes.
• Experience developing strategic roadmaps, operating models, governance frameworks and executive-level business cases.
• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships, including C-level executives and government decision-makers.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience; fluency in Arabic and English is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the Middle East and Africa; experience with GCC ministries, authorities or regulators is highly desirable.

• Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), agentic AI, RAG, data strategy and responsible AI governance.
• Analytics and digital transformation, change management and technology adoption.
• Desirable: Microsoft Azure AI, AWS AI Services, Google Cloud Platform, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Databricks, Snowflake.
• Strong communication, presentation and workshop facilitation skills, commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
