Senior ALSPA Controls Steam Turbine Engineer

About the role

Quest Global is seeking a senior engineer to develop and apply advanced control technologies for steam turbine applications, collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams and ensuring compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced control technologies to steam turbine applications.
• Collaborate with design engineers to define control system requirements and drive equipment specifications.
• Write, test, and develop requirements for turbine application code.
• Lead software acceptance tests with customers and support field personnel in technical issue resolution.
• Manage multiple projects, review customer specifications, and ensure on‑time schedule performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Experience upgrading steam turbine controls from Alstom ALSPA to GE Vernova MarkVIe.
• Knowledge of advanced control technologies for turbine applications.
• Ability to write and test turbine application code.
