Senior Analyst – Corporate Finance (Oil & Gas)

About the role

Houlihan Lokey is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Corporate Finance Energy team in Dubai. The role focuses on oil and gas transactions across the Middle East and APAC, providing exposure to mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and restructuring projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior bankers on M&A, divestiture, and financing transactions for energy clients.
• Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, and pitch materials.
• Conduct industry and market research to inform client recommendations.
• Coordinate with cross‑border teams to execute deals and monitor post‑transaction performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or a similar advisory environment.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modeling.
• Proficiency in valuation techniques (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).
• Experience with M&A transaction processes.
