Senior Analyst - Technology Risk

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Analyst – Technology Risk to support technology risk assessments, risk management, mitigation and continuous improvement for a large semi‑government organization in Dubai. The position is a 12‑month contract, renewable, and will work closely with technology and business stakeholders to strengthen the organisation’s risk framework.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic technology risk assessments across operational, third‑party and technology‑related areas within Business Technology.
• Identify, assess, document and maintain technology risks in line with cybersecurity and risk‑management standards.
• Manage the technology risk register and ensure alignment with the enterprise risk‑management programme.
• Develop and monitor risk‑mitigation strategies, track actions with risk owners and ensure timely closure.
• Support continuous improvement of the technology risk‑management programme, processes and practices.
• Provide risk support during technology and cybersecurity incidents, including impact assessment and communication.
• Prepare risk reports, management updates and analyses for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technology, cybersecurity, business and other stakeholders to address technology risks effectively.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of overall experience, with 5–7 years in technology risk management, IT risk, governance, audit or a related function.
• Hands‑on experience conducting and managing technology risk assessments and risk registers for large‑scale programmes.
• Professional certifications such as CRISC, CRMP, PRINCE2, PMP or ITIL are highly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills, able to engage senior stakeholders.
