Senior Analytics Specialist

About the role

Etihad is seeking a Senior Analytics Specialist to join its Enterprise Analytics team in Abu Dhabi. This hands‑on role focuses on turning complex data sets into actionable commercial insights that drive airline performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse high‑value business questions, translating requirements into structured analytical approaches.
• Conduct advanced and ad‑hoc analysis across large, varied datasets to uncover drivers, patterns and opportunities.
• Apply data‑science and analytical techniques to generate insights that support better decision‑making.
• Produce clear visualisations and concise narratives that enable stakeholders to act on findings.
• Identify and automate recurring analyses to improve efficiency, scalability and quality.
• Develop deep expertise in Etihad’s enterprise data, tools and methodologies.
• Document analytical methods and share knowledge across the analytics community.
• Coach junior analysts, providing technical guidance and mentorship.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Operations Research or Business Analytics.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in data‑science, advanced analytics or commercial analytics environments.
• Strong commercial curiosity with the ability to understand why trends occur and what actions should follow.
