Senior Associate – Arbitration (Dispute Resolution)

About the role

M&CO Legal is seeking a Senior Associate – Arbitration to strengthen its Arbitration team in Dubai. The successful candidate will work on complex commercial and international arbitration matters, primarily within the DIFC jurisdiction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage arbitration cases from inception through to final award.
• Conduct detailed legal research and prepare submissions, pleadings, applications and other arbitration documents.
• Draft and review correspondence, pleadings and other legal paperwork.
• Assist Partners on complex dispute resolution matters and coordinate with clients, counsel, experts and other stakeholders.
• Support the team in DIFC‑related proceedings and related matters.

Required profile

• Minimum of 7 years of overall legal experience.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience handling DIFC arbitration matters.
• English law qualification preferred; UAE legal experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong experience in arbitration and dispute resolution, including complex commercial and international cases.
• Proficiency in drafting pleadings, submissions, applications and other arbitration‑related documents.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, advocacy and written/verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage matters independently and collaborate effectively with partners and the wider legal team.
