Senior Associate – Business Tax Services (US)

About the role

KPMG US Tax Services (UAE) LLC is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Business Tax Services practice in Abu Dhabi. You will work with financial‑services clients, providing U.S. tax compliance and advisory support across a range of investment structures.

Key responsibilities

• Advise asset managers, private equity, hedge funds and other investors on international tax planning.
• Prepare U.S. tax compliance filings for pass‑through entities and partnerships (e.g., Forms 1065, 1120, 1120‑F, 8621, 926, 8832, Schedules K‑1, K‑2/K‑3).
• Collaborate with KPMG global member firms, advisory teams, and U.S. tax specialists on inbound, outbound and cross‑border transactions.
• Draft tax memoranda and presentations on M&A, tax treaties, sovereign exemptions and other planning opportunities.
• Support alternative investment companies throughout the investment life‑cycle.
• Leverage generative AI tools to enhance decision‑making and review processes.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of recent experience in international taxation within the financial‑services sector.
• Bachelor’s degree and eligibility to sit for the CPA exam (or foreign equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. domestic and international tax law, including GILTI, BEAT, FTC and income sourcing.
• Excellent research, writing and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and work effectively in client‑service teams.
