Senior Associate Engineer – Systems (Emirati Talent)

About the role

As an EW System Engineer at FADA, you will define, integrate, and verify electronic warfare capabilities, translating mission needs into system requirements, architectures, signal‑processing functions and operational performance across the full system lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer operational requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Define system architecture that satisfies the identified technical requirements.
• Break down high‑level requirements into functional, performance, mechanical and interface specifications.
• Prepare technical project documentation.
• Integrate, validate and qualify the system.
• Conduct final verification and testing with the customer.
• Support platform installation activities and operational testing.
• Manage project planning and resources.

Required profile

• Graduates, PhD students or PhDs in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science or related fields.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, including frequent trips abroad.
• Good command of English.
• Preferably a Master’s degree in electronic engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science or telecommunications.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Radar, Electronic Warfare (EW) and Digital Signal Processing.
• Understanding of RF microwave and antenna concepts.
• Experience with design, integration and validation of EW and radar electronic systems.
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent modelling tools.
• Ability to manage system‑engineering lifecycle from development to acceptance testing.
• Project management skills covering resources, time and cost.
